A Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) allows the holder to drive any straight truck that has at least two axles and a gross vehicle weight of more than 26,000 pounds. This license is also valid for operating a vehicle that is towing another vehicle, weighing 10,000 pounds or less. To obtain a job operating a Class B vehicle, you'll need to pass the CDL test, consisting of a written test and a road test. Passing the test and qualifying for a Class B CDL is not as simple as you might imagine. To do your best on both portions of the test, you'll need training. Training is also vital for getting a Class B trucking job. We can help you with both here at MTC Truck Driver Training.
